About Columbia Management Group
Columbia Management Group is composed of two entities: self storage and multifamily housing. Our self storage group, branded as Columbia Self Storage, has been in operation since March 2012 with locations throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. In 2017, we acquired a 55 and older, luxury property enabling us to form Columbia Realty Group.
Columbia Self Storage has been providing solutions to storage problems throughout New Jersey since March 2012. The acquisition of our first facility in Vineland, NJ was an opportunity to open more facilities within the state, and soon after we added properties in Mullica Hill and Wayne.
After our initial three acquisitions of year one, we rapidly expanded and soon had facilities throughout New Jersey. With a solid base of satisfied customers, our next step was expanding into Pennsylvania and New York. We acquired locations in Pen Argyl, PA and Middletown, NY, all while maintaining our high levels of customer care.
After the acquisition of our Little Egg Harbor, we rebranded from our original name of Affordable Self Storage Group to Columbia Self Storage. We are continuing to grow and expand throughout the Northeast with over 20 properties and have a continued interest in acquiring additional facilities throughout the U.S.
Columbia Realty Group was formed in 2017, when we acquired The Preserve at West Caldwell, a luxurious, high-end, 55 and older community. We expanded our services to include property management which serves the need for quality rentals and management support in our area. We manage rental properties primarily located throughout Northern New Jersey.
